Voyage of Time Trailer 2

The second movie trailer for Voyage of Time (2016) has premiered for the Terrence Malick‘s directed film. While the shorter version of film (the 45-minute version) is narrated by Brad Pitt, the long version of film (the 90-minute, 35mm version) is narrated by Cate Blanchett. This is the trailer for the latter version of the film. Birth of the star to the origins of humanity is what the trailer touts. The most interesting part of the Voyage of Time: Life’s Journey trailer was when Blanchett says “The Future” and on-screen is a clear image of Mars.

Mars is the future for humanity. That is future is getting closer year-by-year.

Voyage of Time‘s plot synopsis: “The unfolding of the universe takes place before your eyes, in this experience for the senses, mind and soul. A labor of passion by director Terrence Malick (Days of Heaven, The Thin Red Line, The Tree of Life), Voyage of Time: Life’s Journey is an exploration into our planetary past and a search for humanity’s place in the future. Humming with the energy of nature itself, the film melds innovative special effects with awe-inspiring footage from around the globe, in search of what lasts, what endures through time’s changing scenes.”
