THE WALKING DEAD: Negan Appears in New Official Image From Season 7 [AMC]

Jeffrey Dean Morgan Negan The Walking Dead Season Seven

Negan Uses Lucille In New Image From Season Seven of The Walking Dead. While we are reeling over who Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killed after that shocking season finale, AMC is continuing to tease us with this new image of the new Big Bad wielding Lucille.

It’s a mystery as to who fell victim to Lucille at the end of season six of The Walking Dead and it will continue to haunt us all summer until the series returns this fall. The zombie hit made headlines on EW this week after revealing our first look at Negan with his trusty bat Lucille. Even though it doesn’t reveal much on who we see at the end of the bat, it’s still pretty awesome to see Negan in that pose.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan Negan The Walking Dead Season Seven

“Yes, who was at the receiving end of Negan’s bat will be revealed in the first episode,” director Greg Nicotero said. Discussing Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s portrayal of the villain as we enter season seven, the EP added:

He’s the kind of guy who imagines himself on stage at a high school production and he loves every second of it. So, I don’t really see a lot of quiet contemplative moments with Negan. I feel like with Negan it’s really going to be about him gesticulating and him sort of relishing in the sound of his own voice while he commands the stage in front of whoever’s alive.

So check out the cool image of Negan and let us know what you think.
