The Walking Dead: Bury Me Here Trailer & Clip
So the first thing, likely to be taken away from the trailer & clip to the next TWD ep, is that Carol (Melissa McBride) is back in creative killer form. Well, far be it from me to dispute that (he said, containing his own excitement); but I think the more pressing matter should be what set her off, outside her new comfort zone, and determined to meet with friendly foil, Morgan (Lennie James), inside the Kingdom walls.
The “Where’s Morgan?” clip shows that she has gun, will travel to the Kingdom, and will demonstrate that her Martha Stewart of Murder game hasn’t gotten crusty – a fact certainly not to be lost on potential new Cookie Monster, Benjamin (Logan Miller). All that would still require a trigger, to get her out of her self-imposed isolationist stance, however; but I’m not going to speculate on what that could be, here.
There is some timeliness to the Killer Queen’s return, though, as the broader isolationism of the Kingdom, itself, begins to give way. Sanctuary rep, Gavin (Jayson Warner Smith), has been less than gracious, in his diplomacy, certainly. King Ezekiel (Khary Payton), however, looks to be finally embracing the sharp end of the madness, that has been the Kingdom-Savior relationship. As it seems he found it where a King’s man-marbles should be, I’m thinking the Savior headache finally comes to a head.
‘Bury Me Here’ airs Sunday, Mar. 12, at 9:00pm EST, on AMC.
