WAR DOGS (2016) Movie Trailer: Jonah Hill & Miles Teller Are U.S. Gov. Gun-runners

War Dogs Trailer. Todd PhillipsWar Dogs (2016) movie trailer stars Ana de Armas, Miles Teller, Jonah Hill, Jeff Pierre, and Barry Livingston. War Dogs‘ plot synopsis: based on the 2011 Rolling Stone article by Guy Lawson, “‘War Dogs’ follows two friends in their early 20s (Hill and Teller) living in Miami Beach during the Iraq War who exploit a little-known government initiative that allows small businesses to bid on U.S. Military contracts. Starting small, they begin raking in big money and are living the high life. But the pair gets in over their heads when they land a 300 million dollar deal to arm the Afghan Military—a deal that puts them in business with some very shady people, not the least of which turns out to be the U.S. Government.”

This looks excellent. It immediately reminded me Lord of War and how that lead character sank deeper and deeper into the dark abyss of his chosen trade (his morals becoming more and more compromised). The two gun-runners in this film do not seem to have that problem. On the contrary, they seem to be loving their new government-backed operation. Jonah Hill, again, is on point displaying his vast acting abilities in the film.

War Dogs also stars Shaun Toub, JB Blanc, Roman Mitichyan, Brenda Koo, Ashley Spillers, Max Daniels, Aaron Lustig, Nicole Chauvet, Mehdi Merali, and Trevor Keveloh.
