Jeremy Irvine, War Horse 2011

War Horse Trailer 2Steven Spielberg‘s War Horse (2011) movie trailer 2 stars Jeremy Irvine, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hiddleston, David Thewlis, and Emily Watson. War Horse‘s plot synopsis: “Set against a sweeping canvas of rural England and Europe during the First World War, “War Horse” begins with the remarkable friendship between a horse named Joey and a young man called Albert, who tames and trains him. When they are forcefully parted, the film follows the extraordinary journey of the horse as he moves through the war, changing and inspiring the lives of all those he meets—British cavalry, German soldiers, and a French farmer and his granddaughter—before the story reaches its emotional climax in the heart of No Man’s Land.”

The first War Horse movie trailer was intrigue in its no dialogue brevity but the second movie trailer for the film gives the viewer dialogue and plot. Like in Gone With the Wind, one of the characters in the film, Albert in this case,  has their horse taken from them because of war. The horse gets into some serious predicaments yet seems to adapt to all of them. That horse is well trained, like war horses for the middle ages trained to charge into battle and not run away from it. Perhaps Joey was trained in a similar fashion by Albert.

War Horse also stars Peter Mullan, Niels Arestrup, Toby Kebbell, David Dencik, Rainer Bock, Robert Emms, and Johnny Harris.
