According to LiveForFilm, “The footage is looking great and I can’t wait to see more. Of course, there is a lot of CGI, but we’ve only seen few minutes of footage so far. The motion capture and look of the orcs is shaping up nicely. Looks like we may finally have a decent film based on a video game.”

Warcraft‘s synopsis: “The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home. So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something.”

Warcraft also stars Ben Foster, Ben Schnetzer, Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga and Toby Kebbel.

I grew up in Hamburg to a German father and Ecuadorian mother. Obsessive student of film, Hip-Hop, and stand-up comedy. I love the dark dreambox that is the cinema auditorium. I love mountains and the ocean, but am equally exhilarated by the jungle of the city. I hope to one day create something that hits someone in the brain with thunderous effect.
