WARNER BROS. Announces Dates for DC Movies Until 2020

Warner Bros. Releases List of Dates for Upcoming DC Films Until 2020. Look out Marvel, DC is bringing in some fresh competition as Warner Bros. has given a timeline of slated release dates for their upcoming DC films, including two more Justice League films.

According to ComicBookMovie, we should expect to see 11 movies to release after 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The Suicide Squad film, which will be directed by David Ayer, has a planned release date for August 5, 2016 which is a few months after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is released. A year later, we will see Gal Gadot suiting up for her first solo Wonder Woman movie which will lead into the highly anticipated Justice League movie, directed by Zach Snyder on November 23.

Speaking about the Justice League film, Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara said that the film would bring “back the cast of Batman v Superman with a cast of other well-known and highly-anticipated superheroes.” He continued, “Wonder Woman is an iconic female superhero fans have been anticipating for many years.”

Hold on to your seats because after the Justice League, 2018 will be open for the releases of The Flash movie on March 23, followed by Aquaman on July 27. Shazam will make a magical debut on April 5, 2019, which will follow up with Justice League 2, which have Zach Snyder return to the director’s chair on June 14, 2019.

Finally by 2020, Cyborg will go solo on April 3rd, and we will see a reboot of the Green Lantern on June 19th. Batman and Superman will go their own ways with their next solo films, which is in the works for release dates.
