Watch: HANNIBAL: Season 1, Episode 4: Ceuf (Censored + Cannibalized)

Kacey Rohl Hannibal Potage

Watch Hannibal Season 1 Episode 4 Ceuf. Hannibal: Season 1, Season 4: Ceuf (Œuf) stars Kacey Rohl, Hugh Dancy, Caroline Dhavernas, Lara Jean Chorostecki, and Mads Mikkelsen. Because of Ceuf ‘s content, one site says Œuf‘s plot synopsis is: “A group of missing children are brainwashed into killing their families; Hannibal checks Abigail out of the hospital” another says: “The episode’s Case of the Week was about children killing other children” while a third says: “The episode’s original “case of the week” focused on a woman, played by guest star Molly Shannon, who brainwashes children to kill their families”. In any case, NBC made the publicly correct decision to pull the episode in the wake of the Boston Marathon and Sandy Hook Elementary tragedy.

Since key character moments take place in Ceuf outside of the “potentially upsetting content relating to the Molly Shannon storyline”, particularly between Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) and Abigail Hobbs (Kacey Rohl), NBC and Bryan Fuller, the show’s creator and executive producer, decided to release a censored and repackage version online for fans of the TV series. This webisode version has the crime cut out and has left in the character moments and interactions. The full episode will air in its original form in territories outside of the United States of America.

Spoiler for last weeks’ episode Potage and for Ceof:

Last week’s episode ended with Abigail Hobbs being in debt to Hannibal Lecter after she killed her assailant and he helped her hide the body.  In the introduction to this repackaged fourth episode, Fuller explains how things proceed:

“[It] details the relationship between Hannibal Lector and Abigail Hobbs, played by Kacey Rohl. As the series goes on, this relationship gets much more complicated and becomes a load-bearing element of our storytelling. So we wanted to make sure that you have all the scenes to follow the story along.”

Since Hannibal: Season 1, Season 5: Coquilles airs tonight, April 25, 2013, these webisodes of Œuf are must watch.

Hannibal also stars Laurence Fishburne, Aaron Abrams, Hettienne Park, Anna Chlumsky, Gillian Anderson, and Scott Thompson.
