It is is about time the Watchmen: Tales of the Black Freighter Teaser Trailer was shown to the public. I have been hearing about this film for months now. Tales of the Black Freighter, which will be integrated into Watchmen on DVD, looks like it will be boss. Tales of the Black Freighter will also be a straight-to-video release on DVD and Blu-ray on March 24, 2009.

I’m glad they made this. I understand that they couldn’t add this stuff into Watchmen, but it’s a story that deserves to be told. I can’t wait to check it out.
On a side note: I kinda felt like the best parts of Iron Man last year were ruined by all the tv spots giving away all the action, so I’m trying to avoid the Watchmen spots. But it’s getting increasingly difficult to avoid them. They are really amping up the advertising now. I think that movie is going to be huge. As a long time fan of the graphic novel, I’m glad Watchmen is finally getting made. And it looks like it’s gonna be good too!
