Watchmen: Video Journal 8 – Girls Kick Ass

Kick ass. This is the first Watchmen Video Journal, Watchmen: Video Journal 8 – Girls Kick Ass, I have ever posted, mostly because it features the beautiful Carla Cugino and Malin Akerman. Also because you get to see Silk Specter 2 beat up correction officers and criminals during a pivotal scene in Watchmen.

I read it a few years back but I may put it on my Christmas wishlist so I can have it in the collection. The film looks like it will do it justice.

The ending has definitely been um…modified. Lets how it wasn’t butchered the way V for Vendetta’s was.

I hope Watchmen hasn’t been butchered. I thought Moore was heavily involved in this to keep it from ruination.

Moore doesn’t want ANYTHING to do with any adaptations of his work. Why would he? What he wanted to say is already on paper.

Good point. If he was a screenwriter, but he’s not.

Even if he were a screenwriter and wrote the screenplay for Watchmen, he probably would have included all of his ideas and we would have a ten hour film. That wouldn’t be a bad thing if the film were made for television and cut into hour segments.

A made for TV Watchmen. It’d be like the Band of Brothers for comics – esp since it’d have to be on HBO. I always wanted to see the Harry Potter series and the Wheel of Time series as a TV series instead of hacked up films.

“A made for TV Watchmen. It’d be like the Band of Brothers for comics”

That’s a good analogy. Of course it would have to be on HBO, or at least FX or Spike.
