WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER: FIRST DAY OF CAMP (2015) Teaser Trailer: Series Based on Film Finds Home on Netflix

Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp Teaser Trailer

Wet Hot American Summer Netflix Series Teaser Trailer Has Been Released. David Wain and Michael Showalter‘s Wet Hot American Summer (2015) Netflix series teaser trailer stars Ken Marino, Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper, Paul Rudd, and Molly Shannon. Wet Hot American Summer‘s plot synopsys: “The misadventures of campers and counselors at Camp Firewood.”

So that synopsis is fairly thing, but who cares? Based on how amazing the original movie was, how comedically inventive and exciting it felt, I’m ready to dive into this without any further information. This teaser is incredibly well made, with all the VHS tracking, scratches, audio quality, etc. If there is one worry I have regarding the comeback of this movie as a Netflix show, its the gap of time between the two.

It has now been more than a decade since the film was released, and rarely do the stars align twice, especially when you’re going back to the well to make money. Hopefully the creators have had ideas and plans for these characters and the situations they find themselves in way before the original movie was ever a cult success. Indeed, it would be somebody as genius as David Wain or Michael Showalter to have genuine intentions. I trust them.

Everything looks fantastic, and I can’t wait for this to be released.
