What did you think?: A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)

Now that you have seen A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010), what did you think of it? Was it better than the 1984 original? *snickers* Was the acting phenomenal, at the top of the twenty-year-olds-in-high school field? I heard that we get to see some of the backstory of Freddy Kruger, the Springwood Slasher. Was it realized in a fitting way? Better than what we saw at the beginning of Freddy vs. Jason? Too bad they screwed up bringing that script to the screen. It was one of the best horror scripts I have ever read. On one site, someone is predicting a huge drop in box office after A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)‘s opening weekend? Do you agree? Is he wrong? Did the plot to the film have holes? Leave your thoughts below.
