WONDER WOMAN (2017): Director Says Film Hasn’t Been Greenlit

Michelle MacLaren

Michelle MacLaren Says Wonder Woman Still Not Officially Greenlit. Even though Warner Bros. announced that Wonder Woman would be one of the slated DC films to be released, director Michelle MacLaren hasn’t gotten the go-ahead from the studio yet.

In a profile for Vulture, The Walking Dead Game of Thrones director was asked on the status of the solo Wonder Woman movie. MacLaren couldn’t really talk about it, but she did offer some updates on the film. She told the medium that the film hasn’t been given the official greenlight with no script or release date as of now. “I really, really, really can’t talk about this,” she said. “I just picture a drone coming in over the hills and crashing through the glass and flying over here and putting duct tape over my mouth, you know?”
