WORLD WAR Z (2013) TV Spot: Super Bowl 47 (XLVII) Commercial

Mireille Enos Brad Pitt World War Z

World War Z TV CommercialMarc Forster‘s World War Z (2013Super Bowl 47 (XLVII) TV spot stars Brad PittEric WestMatthew FoxDavid Morse, and James Badge DaleWorld War Z‘s plot synopsis: based on the book by Max Brooks, “The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself.”

This plot-line differs greatly from the book’s plotline:

World War Z is a collection of individual accounts in the form of first-person anecdotes. Brooks plays the role of an agent of the United Nations Postwar Commission, who published the report a decade after the ten-year Zombie War. The United Nations left much of his research out of the official report, choosing to focus on facts and figures from the war rather than the individual stories that form the bulk of Brooks’ novel. The interviews chart a decade-long war against zombies from the view point of many different people of various nationalities. The personal accounts also describe the religious, geo-political, and environmental changes as a result of the Zombie War.

This TV commercial offers so footage not previously found in the World War Z (2013) Movie Trailer.

World War Z also stars Mireille EnosDavid AndrewsMichiel HuismanJulian SeagerElyes GabelJulia Levy-BoekenIván KamarásTrevor WhiteSarah Sharman, and Lee Nicholas Harris.

They must have a lot of confidence in this movie since they shelled out for a Super Bowl spot. Nothing really new her, but it’s very fast paced.

This movie is going to be luke-warm. Warm Bodies will be the better of the two zombie movies.

Agreed. The year of reshoots is a bad sign for “World War Z” while “Warm Bodies” appeals to the “Twilight” and zombie crowd.
