WORLD WAR Z (2013) TV Spot: Super Bowl 47 (XLVII) Commercial
World War Z TV Commercial. Marc Forster‘s World War Z (2013) Super Bowl 47 (XLVII) TV spot stars Brad Pitt, Eric West, Matthew Fox, David Morse, and James Badge Dale. World War Z‘s plot synopsis: based on the book by Max Brooks, “The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself.”
This plot-line differs greatly from the book’s plotline:
World War Z is a collection of individual accounts in the form of first-person anecdotes. Brooks plays the role of an agent of the United Nations Postwar Commission, who published the report a decade after the ten-year Zombie War. The United Nations left much of his research out of the official report, choosing to focus on facts and figures from the war rather than the individual stories that form the bulk of Brooks’ novel. The interviews chart a decade-long war against zombies from the view point of many different people of various nationalities. The personal accounts also describe the religious, geo-political, and environmental changes as a result of the Zombie War.
This TV commercial offers so footage not previously found in the World War Z (2013) Movie Trailer.
World War Z also stars Mireille Enos, David Andrews, Michiel Huisman, Julian Seager, Elyes Gabel, Julia Levy-Boeken, Iván Kamarás, Trevor White, Sarah Sharman, and Lee Nicholas Harris.
