X-MEN: APOCALYPSE (2016): Bryan Singer Teases Classic Team Costumes to Appear

X-Men Classic Team

Bryan Singer Teases Classic Colorful Costumes Coming in X-Men: Apocalypse. We know that we will see a younger version of the original team in X-Men: Apocalypse but what will they be wearing? Director Bryan Singer has teased we may see them in the classic costumes from the comics.

Fox hasn’t released any footage to the public besides the one at San Diego Comic Con. The movie is still in production, but Bryan Singer has fans riled up with excitement as the director teased the emergence of some very well known costumes in X-Men: Apocalypse.

“I will say that in X-Men: Apocalypse, there is a chance — without giving anything away — that you may get closer to seeing what I think, Mr. X-Men News, you are interested in seeing,” Singer said to Yahoo! Movies on possibly seeing the classic costumes. “I know it’s something I’ve been interested in, I just always wanted to do it the right way.”

As for how the new cast would portray the younger versions of the original X-Men, don’t expect them to be the same as their current selves.

Young Jean, young Scott and young Storm — and frankly, young Nightcrawler. These are very different characters than they were in the films X-Men 1, 2, and 3. They are at times in their lives where they are probably at the most opposite they were, or they were to become. That’s kind of a thrill for me, to go back and take characters that I had crafted so many years ago and then flip them completely on their side and show how they evolved and how they began.
