X-MEN: APOCALYPSE (2016): Jennifer Lawrence Is “Dying To Come Back” For More

Jennifer Lawrence Oscar Isaac X Men Apocalypse

Jennifer Lawrence talks about returning in future X-Men installments. The Hunger Games and American Hustle star is ready to appear in further entries in 20th Century Fox‘s comic-based franchise.

In contrast to earlier remarks indicating that X-Men: Apocalypse would be her last time acting in the series, Lawrence expressed delight at participating in the movies and hope that she would be able to come back for new ones. Considering the star power the Academy Award-winning actress continues to wield, there is a very good chance Fox will oblige her when the next X-Men film rolls around into pre-production.

When the question was raised by MTV sometime back, Lawrence gave a seemingly definitive answer in the negative:

“It is my last one, actually, yes,” she told MTV at the time. Now she appears to have changed her tone.

Speaking with Empire, Lawrence was asked about coming back again and this time replied: “I am dying to come back. I love these movies, I love being in them. I love ensemble movies because it’s not on anyone’s shoulders.”

It’s unclear what will come of the X-Men franchise after the release of “Apocalypse,” which sees the completion of the trilogy that began with “First Class” but also the end of many of the main cast’s contracts (including Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Nicholas Hoult).
