X-MEN: Natalie Alyn Lind Joins TV Series in a Key Role [FOX]

Natalie Alyn Lind Cast in Upcoming X-Men Family Drama Series

The new X-Men family drama on Fox has added another cast member with Gotham actress Natalie Alyn Lind. The young actress joins Stephen Moyer in the cast as his character’s daughter who may turn out to be a mutant if that is what it turns out to be in the series.

The cast for Fox’s new X-Men TV series continues to expand with the addition of Natalie Alyn Lind. According to Variety, the actress will play Lauren, one of the children of a family who is on the run from the government who are hunting down mutants. Based on her character description, she is pretty, smart, popular, and organized as she prepares for college. She’s a perfect kid but what kind of powers will she have? We don’t even have a mutant name for her, so perhaps she might get one or none at all. So far, the other cast members include Jamie Chung, Blair Redford, and Sean Teale.

The new series follows two regular parents who find out that their kids possess mutant abilities. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family ends up joining an underground network of mutants and fight to survive. Created by Matt Nix, the Sentinels seem to have a part in the new series. The show is also reportedly to be set in the same universe as the X-Men films.
