Zoolander 2 Movie Trailer 2. Ben Stiller‘s Zoolander 2 (2016) movie trailer stars Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson and Will Ferrell. Zoolander 2‘s plot synopsis: “Derek and Hansel are modelling again when an opposing company attempts to take them out from the business.”

Well, this might be the comedy sequel to tell the others how its done. I’ve been skeptical all along, really, but I found myself smiling at various parts of this trailer. The right tone that we’re all expecting from a Zoolander sequel seems to be in place here, and it feels invigorating when Stiller and Wilson are reintegrated into their mission-status. It’s incredible to Kyle Mooney, here. He’s come a long way. And by god its great to have Will Ferrell back where he needs to be – shouting ridiculous things, and homoerotically lusting after his gay, black assistant. And perhaps most importantly, Justin Theroux is behind the script again. God bless.

Modeling is a young person’s game, and in Zoolander 2 it looks like Derek and Hansel discover to their horror that they are not so young anymore. They’re shocked to realize fashion has changed — arguably for the better, since it’s now given us Benedict Cumberbatch as an androgynous space alien named All. The jokes don’t feel quite as fresh as they used to, but it’s hard to argue with Hansel throwing stuff at Zoolander to try and bring back that Magnum magic. However, the very best part of the trailer, might be Wiig, who is nearly unrecognizable as what appears to be some unholy combination of Donatella Versace and Lady Gaga.”
