The CW‘s The 100 TV Show Trailer & Images for Human Trials. War is coming to the survivors of the Ark; but its loudest proponent, at the moment, doesn’t seem to be Bellamy (Bob Morley), Kane (Henry Ian Cusick), or any of the leading Grounder voices. The drumbeat is being sounded by Clarke (Eliza Taylor). Kids grow fast. Kids grow faster (and wilder) under life-or-death conditions.
Even as Clarke makes the case, for moving on Mt. Weather, the Weathermen are putting the electro-screws to Lincoln (Ricky Whittle), seemingly proving her point in titular fashion. Not to be sidelined, again, the grown ups undergo some trials of their own. The matter puts Bellamy in a familiar place, challenging the wisdom of his elders, while Raven (Lindsey Morgan) brings perspective, of a more personal nature, to Abigail (Paige Turco). Bellamy & co. may have also had a bad influence on Kane, who might soon be regretting taking a chance on Grounder captive, Rivo (Colin Lawrence).
Pics from the episode highlights the reunion of Abigail & Clarke, before the latter posses up with Bellamy & Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos), and slips off reservation; as well as Kane’s own walkabout, with Rivo.
Clarke & Abigail:
“As I live & breathe unprocessed air….”
“Hey, mom. Guess what I’ve been getting into.”
“My, you’ve grown so… filthy… since I seen you last.”
“A bit too much of my own, in the mix, but the bloody look has grown on me.”
Clarke & the runaways:
“After the company I’ve been keeping, I can even stand you, Bellamy.”
“Yeah, well, I lost my warlord harem; so, backatchya.”
“Come to think of it, you’re looking kinda good – now that can’t run away, ‘n all….”
“Well, you just sweet talked your way into my complicated sneak-out solution.”
Kids today. I remember when kids snuck out, risking life & limb, for a good time. Of course, we were a lot softer, back then….
“I used to be able to do reckless, idealist things, that involved running….”
“Born to run, rule, and ruin! So much do, when things level out enough for me to be bad, again.”
“To think: there used to be a time when having Octavia at my heels, with a machete, was cause for some concern.”
“Okay, two girls to one guy says if you’re lost, you HAVE to ask for directions.”
Kane & Rivo:
Kane stops to smell the roses. He’s never seen one, so just let him have his moment.
“You can have the carrot, or the stick. Carrot’s pending – you’ll just have to trust me.”
“So… we have an arrangement? Scowl once, for yes, twice for no.”
‘Human Trials’ also features Thomas McDonell, Devon Bostick, Christopher Larkin, Kendall Cross, Eve Harlow, Tanaya Beatty, Rekha Sharma, and Isaiah Washington, and airs Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 9:00pm EST, on The CW.
