Puk Grasten‘s 37 (2016) movie trailer stars Samira Wiley, Michael Potts, Maria Dizzia, Jamie Harrold, and Thomas Kopache. 37’s plot synopsis: “37 is a powerful drama and a fictional account of the night Kitty Genovese was murdered in 1964, Kew Gardens, Queens, where 37 neighbors witnessed the killing and did not intervene. 37 examines the lives of a group of families during the day and night of a tragedy that shocked America.”
37 looks great. Grasten and cinematography Adam Jandrup have really created and captured some great, atmospheric shots. Not only was the effect of the grisly incident briefly shown in this trailer, the era in question was brought back to life as well.
37 also stars Adrian Martinez, Evan Fine, Sophia Lillis, Marquise Gary, Christina Brucato, Lynne McCollough, Sawyer Nunes, and Nancy Ozelli.
