6 Reasons Why the New Television Program Fringe is Cool

Below you will find the six reasons way I believe the new TV program Fringe, which airs via the Fox Broadcasting Company, is exciting and will not be canceled in the foreseeable future.

1.) Inclusion of a great idea and term: Fringe Science (think the Temporal Cold War from Star Trek: Enterprise.) It’s an infinitely exploitable concept.

2.) The corporation in the show, Massive Dynamic, gives the show scoop, balance and will probably be the nucleus of some interesting technology on the show. Spoiler: We have already seen a cybernetic replacement arm.

3.) A complicated father, Dr. Walter Bishop (John Noble) / son, Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson) relationship. Both are geniuses but one is insane and an early explorer in Fringe Science.

4.) Great back story for the Bishops and the founder of Massive Dynamic.

5.) Nice mixture of gore and horror. Many X-Files and horror film fans will be attracted to the show because of this reason.

6.) Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv), the main protagonist and star of Fringe, is FULLY hot. She will physically appeal to male and female viewers of the show. J.J. Abrams and the other producers knew what they were doing when they chose her for the Dunham role.

I don’t know about you but I’ll be tuning into Fringe every week. What about you? Do you think the show is interesting and has what it takes to survive?
