Mysterious Alien Race on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Revealed to Be Kree. It was in the middle of the first season of ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. that Agent Phil Coulson discovered the remains of a blue alien inside a tube. Many have thought it to be Kree, and its turned out to be true.
As we get closer to the truth, the show revealed that the blue alien creature is indeed of Kree origin. TV Guide managed to get the answer during their exclusive behind-the-scenes look at what’s coming up for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D after it comes back from Thanksgiving break on Dec. 2. Executive producer Jeffrey Bell gave some intel on how the Kree fits into the show. “Our people don’t know anything about the Kree or that there’s a planet full of them,” he tells the site. “What they do know is that the strange carvings created by Coulson after he was injected with the Kree serum are actually the map of a city, and they need to find that city before Hydra does. But where is it? Here or on another planet?”
The Kree has been a part of the Marvel Universe for many years and was recently introduced in last summer’s blockbuster film Guardians of the Galaxy when a member of the race, Ronan the Accuser, attacked the Nova Corp to disrupt the peace between his species and the galactic police force.
It seems that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is ready to take on outer space down the line. What do you guys think?
