Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Purpose of the Machines Images. After giving you some promising images from the season premiere of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Marvel has unveiled some more stills from the second episode, where the team will seek help from an Asgardian to search for Simmons.
In the episode ‘Purpose in the Machine’, Fitz (Ian De Caestecker) and the rest of the team try to unlock the secrets of an ancient monolith to save Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) with the help of Asgardian ally Professor Randolph (Peter MacNicol). Some of the images, given by Spoiler TV, show that the team is in some sort of cave as they attempt to discover more about the Inhumans. Meanwhile, we also see Ward (Brett Dalton) with Kebo (Daz Crawford) as they try to bring back HYDRA in order to start their next move against S.H.I.E.L.D.
