First Image of Jason O’Mara as New Director in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Jason O’Mara has some big shoes to fill as the new director of SHIELD when Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns this season. Based on what we see in the photo, he certainly feels right at home in his new position.
TVLine revealed our first image of Jason O’Mara as the new director of SHIELD this week. Even though we don’t know his name yet, all we know is that his character has roots that date back to the 1940s. Perhaps it’s someone we know in the comics, plus the site revealed that his name is quite a manly name if that makes any sense.
“It’s definitely a new dynamic that we added to the mix,” “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” co-showrunner Maurissa Tancharoen said. “Things have been shaken up a bit.”
