Alias Grace Teaser Trailer

Netflix‘s Alias Grace: Teaser TV Show Trailer stars Sarah Gadon and Edward Holcroft. The teaser seems to hint at an ominous series of events that are to come.

Alias Grace‘s plot synopsis from IMDB:

Based on the true story of Grace Marks, a housemaid and immigrant from Ireland who was imprisoned in 1843, perhaps wrongly, for the murder of her employer Thomas Kinnear. Grace claims to have no memory of the murder yet the facts are irrefutable. A decade after, Dr. Simon Jordan tries to help Grace recall her past.

The series will feature, via IMDB, Sarah Gadon, Edward Holcroft, Zachary Levi, Kerr Logan, Stephen Joffe, Rebecca Liddiard, Alice Snaden, Will Bowes, Kate Ross, Elizabeth Saunders, Michael Therriault, Samantha Weinstein, Sylvia Zuk, Jonathan Koensgen, Kyle Cameron, Diane D’Aquila, Laila Kharouba, and John Tench.

Our first look at the six-part miniseries from American Psycho director Mary Harmon, the teaser for Alias Grace is intriguing without revealing too much about its plot. Featuring a voiceover by the title character, Grace relays to us the litany of labels hurled at her following her participation in the murder of her employer and his housekeeper. Striking an ironically feminist chord, Grace notes that being called a “murderess” feels different from simply being called a murderer.

With scenes of fast violence contemplative quiet, the trailer for Alias Grace is promising enough for viewers to look forward to its premiere with anticipation.
