The Altitude Movie Trailer has premiered. Altitude (2010) is directed by Kaare Andrews and stars Jessica Lowndes, Julianna Guill, Ryan Donowho, Michelle Harrison, Landon Liboiron, and Jake Weary. Altitude plot synopsis: “After a mysterious malfunction sends their small plane climbing out of control, a rookie pilot and her four teenage friends find themselves in a showdown with a malevolent supernatural force.” This movie reminds me of Frozen in every good way possible. There is tons of eye candy in the film, it has an inescapable locale a la The Thing, and some geek boy elements with the comic book. What sucks is that an original, cool film like this is not be released in theater but is going straight-to-video. WTF? In Valen’s Name, this film has everything going for it. Anchor Bay is definitely building a strong home release library with films of this quality but they are dropping the ball by not releasing it in theater. Altitude is being released on DVD and Blu-ray on October 26, 2010.
