First Image of Yellowjacket From Ant-Man. We may have seen him on a promotional banner last year, but we finally have an official look at Yellowjacket from the upcoming Marvel film Ant-Man. This marks the first time we are seeing Ant-Man’s foe up close so check it out.
Unveiled by Entertainment Weekly, we have an expanded look at Yellowjacket facing off against a pint-sized Ant-Man. In the movie, Yellowjacket is worn by Corey Stoll’s Darren Cross. Director Peyton Reed discussed with EW about the two suits in the film. “Hank Pym’s Ant-Man suit doesn’t have a single weapon, whereas Yellowjacket is armed with plasma cannons.”
In the comics, Yellowjacket was introduced as another superhero identity of Hank Pym, representing the scientist’s dark side. After that, the suit was stolen from the hands of criminal Rita DeMara who became a supervillain and became an anti-hero later on.
