The CW’s Arrow Releases First Look at Katie Cassidy as Black Canary. With Sara gone, it was a matter of time before Katie Cassidy’s Laurel Lance would take the mantle as the new Black Canary. Well, the CW has just released two images of Laurel as the Black Canary on Arrow.
This season of Arrow has shown Laurel in training as she builds herself into becoming the Black Canary in the series. We won’t be seeing her in full costume until the 10th episode next year, but at least we can see how she will look like when she fights crime alongside Stephen Amell’s Arrow.
