More Details on When Deathstroke Will Return to The CW’s Arrow. Ever since news broke of Deathstroke’s return on Arrow, we wondered if he would appear in a flashback or present day. Well, the answer turns out to be that Slade Wilson will be back for blood in the present.
Manu Bennett is getting ready to reprise his role as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke later on this season, and he will be out for blood against Team Arrow for imprisoning him in Lian Yu. “Slade is definitely [resurfacing] in the present day,” showrunner Andrew Kreisberg told TVLine.
Despite the news of Oliver having met his apparent death, it won’t make Slade in the least bit happy. “Not that he’s ever happy, but he’s particularly unhappy,” the EP said. “When he comes back, he’s out for blood.”
Team Arrow will have their hands full as they must protect Starling City without their leader and on top of that, their old foe Deathstroke will be making the task difficult for them. What do you guys think of Slade’s return to his villainous ways?
