ARROW: Season 3, Episode 19: Broken Arrow: TV Show Trailer & Images

Stephen Amell Arrow Broken Arrow

TV show trailer & images for the CW’s Arrow 3.19, Broken Arrow. It’s become something of a busy time, for the extended Arrow cast; and busy times call for busy promos, to busy episodes. ‘Broken Arrow’ looks to be pretty busy; so I elected to highlight three distinct threads.

The flashback component has globe-trotting gaijin, Oliver (Stephen Amell), perpetual dirty laundryman, Maseo (Karl Yune), and ultimate tiger mom, Tatsu (Rila Fukushima), all on the same hunt. It better be a big job; but I’m not above a little overkill, now & then.

Team Hong Kong Heroes, on the move:

“Okay. So I’m entrusting you with a weapon, one more time…. “

“Yay! Fun with weapons!”

“…Better to have him in front of us, than behind us.”

“We brought him as gun-fodder, right? We talked about this.”

“You shoot them, I ‘process’ the carcass. God, how I missed our hunting trips.”

Of course, Oliver’s current crisis involves managing being outed, as the Arrow. It’s bad enough that he has a relatively mad (yet, relatively angry) Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) still shaking him down, and has to figure out what to do with Team Arrow, but he also has to get input from fallen Master of the Universe, Merlyn (John Barrowman), and help from Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy). Laurel. Lance.

Oliver Queen’s really bad nights roll on:

“Trust me, the whole falling from grace thing – it’s liberating.”

“Yeah… kinda not, though.”

“You’ve been a great Scooby Gang, any talking dog would be proud to have you… and you’re fired.”

“Ah, but that’s my line. The fired part, anyway.”

“Don’t anybody focus on me – token ‘angry’ black man wasn’t part of the job description.”

“Job did come with some furious females, though (Don’t glare at me, Ollie – most of that went your way).”

“Just… uhchh…. “

“Man, I forgot all the fun that comes with being the bad cop. #JerkPerk!”

“Man, I remember when being handcuffed was fun.”

“Hate to be ‘that guy;’ but I need you to talk to your dad.”

“I’m asking you for a solid – so clearly I’m desperate…. “

“Y’know, you’re not the only Lance of the Law, in this town. #JerkPerk.”

The villains of the week are still rolling in, however; but it wouldn’t be a City of Heroes without Iron Man The (Arrow sized) Atom (Brandon Routh), to pick up the high end slack. Said slack comes in the form of Jake Simmons (Doug Jones), aka Deathbolt.

The Atom vs Deathbolt (round 1):

Villain of the week signs in: “The name is Deathbolt. Remember it.”

“- Or not. At this point, we all know it’s not about me.”

“Well, I’m all about stealing scenes, where I can; so this is my time. Hands that do zappy things help.”

“Hey, my hands do that! Of course, I also let my hands get dirty… you might wanna look into that, if you somehow survive this…. “

“No throwing spare change, please; I’m just… taking a moment.”

If the trailer is any indication, Ray Palmer’s ego will have to take a back seat, as his alter ego gets a much needed lesson, in hand-to-hand, from a remote co-pilot. Been something of a boom, for reluctant trainer fallback positions, this season.

We also get a glimpse of Roy (Colton Haynes), doing an ‘Orange is the new Red’ impression, and something of a confrontation, between Thea (Willa Holland) & The Demon’s Head, himself, Ra’s al Ghul (Matt Nable). That amounts to a decent number of goings on, for the episode; so something’s bound to stick….

‘Broken Arrow’ also features David RamseyEmily Bett RickardsJustin Breault, and Craig Fraser. It airs Wednesday, April 15, at 8:00pm EST, on the CW
