Stephen Amell Gives Details on the Fourth Season of Arrow. We last saw Oliver Queen driving off into the sunset with Felicity Smoak during the season three finale of Arrow. So what happens to them in season four? Well Stephen Amell has some answers for us.

Praise has been given to the first two seasons of the The CW hit while the third season had some mixed responses. Some viewers loved the new dynamic while others felt the show was losing steam once the drama focused on the bond between Oliver Queens and Felicity Smoak. Talking with TV Junkies about the upcoming season, Stephen Amell gave some interesting yet puzzling responses on what we will see next season.

“Well they’ve been away,” said Amell, talking about Oliver and Felicity’s trip to Coast City during the finale. “They are away and I believe they are still away when we get going again.” Whether they will stay together when the season returns is a possibility according to the Arrow star. “Well you never know, but I think if anyone has a decent chance it’s Oliver and Felicity. Time will tell.”

Amell also said that Season 4 would open with a time jump to a couple of months, which will be about the same amount of time between the finale and the season premiere.

When I said there was a time jump people were like, ‘Oh my God really?’ I didn’t think that was very spoilery because the show has always followed chronologically when we air. Whenever we’ve taken a break and go off the air from May till October, when we leave it’s May and when we come back it’s October.

The actor also received a few scripts for the new season, and after looking at them, he looks forward to start filming them.

It still feels like our show but there are different elements that I think people are going to enjoy.  We get to see some characters interact that weren’t always the closest of friends or interacting on a regular basis which is neat when you’re doing new stuff in the fourth season of a show.
