Villain The Calculator May Have a Connection with Felicity on Arrow. With the announcement that Tom Amandes will be playing the villainous Calculator, fans have theorized that he may be linked to Felicity Smoak’s (Emily Bett Rickards) family. Well, that might be true.
Addressing the theory that Calculator could turn out to be Felicity’s father, EP Wendy Mericle spoke with EW about the possibility. “Definitely tune in…We are very excited about this character. He does have a connection to Felicity. We’re just really thrilled. Tom Amandes has been amazing in the role and is bringing a lot of kindness and a lot of malice to this character.”
Also known as Noah Kuttler, Calculator will be making his first appearance on Arrow during the 12th episode in February. His character was described at the time as “a criminal mastermind and technical genius… [who] uses his advanced skills in computer science and internet manipulation to blackmail Roy [Colton Haynes] out of retirement to do his bidding, which leads to an epic battle with Team Arrow.”
With his background in tech, we can definitely see why everyone would think he is Felicity’s father or at least share a connection with her since they are both smart and intelligent. What do you guys think about this? Can The Calculator turn out to be Felicity’s father?
