Wild Dog And Black Canary Set As Regulars For Arrow Season 6

Arrow superheroes Wild Dog and Black Canary will be upped to series regulars in the sixth season of The CW action drama.

The news marks the latest shift in the show’s constantly changing lineup. In the program’s first season, John Barrowman had a major role as villain Malcolm Merlyn before being demoted to a few guest appearances in the second season and then being upped to a recurring role in the third season. On top of this, the show’s proclivity for killing characters has made it difficult to predict who will remain in future installments of the series.

In any case, it looks like the producers have decided that they want to see more Wild Dog and Black Canary, a fact that bodes well for the fate of the two.

CBR.com, the source of this story, shares the following about the two heroes:

Seeing as Wild Dog and Black Canary will now be series regulars, it seems as though they will survive the Season 5 finale. It is unclear at this time if Echo Kellum’s Curtis Holt, one of Oliver’s other new recruits, will also be upped to a series regular; like Willa Holland’s Thea Queen, Curtis was a recurring character in Season 5.

The return of Dinah Drake is particularly notable, since Katie Cassidy’s Black Siren will also be a series regular in Season 6.
