Arrow/The Flash Spinoff Teases Three New Heroes

Canary Atom Captain Cold

Arrow/The Flash Spinoff Casting for Three New Characters. We already know who will be featured in the Arrow/The Flash spinoff but we also know that three more heroes will be joining them. So who will join the likes of The Atom, Dr. Stein, Captain Cold, and possibly the Canary?

TVLine managed to get some descriptions of the three mystery characters who will join Brandon Routh (The Atom), Victor Garber (Dr. Martin Stein), Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold), and Caity Lotz (The Canary). The spin-off will be a team-up of sorts with characters from both Arrow and The Flash. The identities of these three heroes are still unknown to us, but there are some theories on who they might be.

The Traveler: Described as a “Han Solo-esque rogue who gets by with his charm, this hero hails from the future, and has journeyed back in time on a secret mission. His razor-sharp wit hides the pain of a man who has lived through serious conflict. He also harbors many secrets, always leaving both his teammates and the audience unsure of his true allegiances.” When we read this, Rip Hunter first comes to mind who uses the name as an alias who stops his enemies from going through time and killing him as an infant. Maybe he can be the one who brings Sara back from the dead. Another name that pops up is Booster Gold, another time-traveling hero who already made his live-action debut on Smallville.

Female Warrior: She is said to be a “twentysomething Latina is pretty but unassuming, book smart and socially awkward by day. But by night, when she hears the cry of battle, her fury is ignited and she becomes a fierce warrior — so much so, that sometimes she can become a threat to others.” We believe she could be a cross between Helena Kosmatos/Fury and Yolanda Montez, or she could be the second Wildcat who takes the title from her godfather Ted Grant. Other names on the table could be Pantha and Tarantula.

Mystery Hero: Finally, we have this guy who is an “African-American male in his twenties will fill the role of a regular, street smart guy who unexpectedly gains powers, and then, as part of the team, regularly quips about the insanity of the situations.” We can suggest either Static Shock, but Black Lightning and Black Vulcan are possibilities as well.

Any guesses as to who these heroes are?
