Assassin’s Creed International Trailer
Justin Kurzel‘s Assassin’s Creed (2016) international movie trailer stars Ariane Labed, Jeremy Irons, Brendan Gleeson, Michael Fassbender, and Marion Cotillard. Assassin’s Creed‘s plot synopsis: based on the video game series by Ubisoft, “Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.”
Unlike the first trailer, this trailer is shorter and gets quicker to the main plotline of the film. There are new scenes sprinkled throughout (e.g. a roof-top battle, bow and arrow usage), including the attack on the facility that Callum is to taken to after his “execution.” The Spanish Inquisition is a primary player in this trailer.
Assassin’s Creed also stars Michael K. Williams, Callum Turner, Matias Varela, Octavia Selena Alexandru, Cali Nelle, Denis Ménochet, Brian Gleeson, Marysia S. Peres, and Carlos Bardem.
