AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR – PART I (2018): Josh Brolin “Blown Away” By Story

Josh Brolin Thanos Avengers

Josh Brolin says he is “blown away” by the story for Avengers: Infinity War. The Academy Award-nominated Milk and No Country for Old Men actor revealed that he is very impressed with the two-part Marvel film’s plot.

Long established as the voice of Thanos the Mad Titan, Brolin has appeared in several films set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe without ever once playing a major role in the main events of said films. With his character slated to finally steal the stage in the upcoming Infinity War, the actor has managed to get a look at what’s in store for him and audiences, and man, is he impressed:

“Yeah, I sat at a table and I listened to the story from beginning to end, which was … you know, sometimes you go around and you go, “Oh, it’s a great movie. Or this is a great experience,” and you kind of know that it’s not. This is the opposite…These stories … these Avengers stories all come down to this conclusion, and that’s our involvement. Basically, my character against everybody. And it’s really fun what they’ve chosen to do with the story. I think it’s brilliant, personally. I was blown away, and had goose pimples pretty much 50% of the time that I was listening to what was going on, and pretty amazed that I’m going to be involved in it. So it’s a big thing that’s coming up.”
