Sebastian Stan to Reprise Role as Bucky in Avengers: Infinity War. After having Bucky in a cyrofreeze at the end of Civil War, the character’s return was imminent so it was a matter of when. Now we know for certain as Sebastian Stan is coming back to play him in Avengers: Infinity War.
The Hollywood Reporter broke word that Sebastian Stan will be return as Bucky/Winter Soldier in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War. After volunteering to go into cyrostasis in the end of Civil War, fans thought that Bucky may come back in Black Panther since we saw that he was in Wakanda. Black Panther comes out in February 16, 2018 so there’s still a chance we may see the Winter Soldier come out of his sleep. If that’s not the case, we may see him finally awakened in Avengers: Infinity War.
According to THR, Stan will be shooting for his new film We Have Always Lived in the Castle, which may shoot this month in Dublin. Black Panther doesn’t start filming till early next year while Infinity War will shoot in November in Atlanta. With that much of a time period between shoots, it’s possible for Stan to find time to do both films.
We won’t know yet until production begins for these movies. What do you guys think?
