Jesse Eisenberg Discusses Going Bald as Lex Luthor for Batman v Superman. We recently had our first look at Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor for the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The actor had time to talk about what it was like going bald to play the iconic villain.
The actor sat down at Late Night with Seth Meyers to talk about his terrifying transformation as the Superman’s arch nemesis. “I’ve never been able to touch my scalp,” Eisenberg said about cutting his hair for the first time. “Yes it’s freezing. It’s really strange. You know, it’s the kind of thing where you feel like ‘I can really damage myself.’ You wanna wear a helmet. It’s terrifying, it’s terrifying.”
Later on, Meyers brought up a set photo of Eisenberg covering up his head.
You’d think there would be something more threatening than the floral arrangement [on my head]. Everything is like shrouded in secrecy and the people are shrouded in bandannas. You know, Superman, Henry Cavill, in like baggy sweatpants.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice also stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, and Jeremy Irons. The film releases on March 25, 2016.
