Robin’s Real Identity Revealed From Batman v Superman. For those who have seen Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we were given a glimpse into the fate of Batman’s sidekick Robin. Fans have been wondering who actually donned the mantle of Robin, up until now.
Batman-News has shown a video from the Warner Bros. Tour Hollywood where a tour guide was giving a bit of history in the making of some scenes from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. One of the scenes was when Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne was in the Batcave, where we saw Robin’s costume with the words spray painted by a young Joker saying, “Ha ha. The joke’s on you Batman.” In the video, the tour guide reveals that the suit belongs to none other than Jason Todd. In the comics, Jason Todd was the second character to take the name of Robin.
So it kind of makes sense that this would be Jason Todd’s costume since in the comics, Joker does end up killing him. Hopefully we learn more on Jason’s demise down the line in the DCEU. Are you guys shocked to know who Robin was in the film?
