Crazy Rich Asians was Number One at the box office over the weekend for the second week in a row with $25 Million. Hopefully the success of this all Asian cast film spurs similar films lead by undeserved segments of the populace.

The Meg was Second at the box office this weekend for the second week in a row with $13 Million for $105.3 Million so far. World-wide, The Meg has made $408.6 Million.

The Happytime Murders premiered in Third Place with $10 Million.

Mission: Impossible – Fallout was Fourth with $8 Million for $193.9 Million so far. World-wide, Mission: Impossible – Fallout has made $538.7 Million.

Christopher Robin was Fifth with $6.3 Million.

Mile 22AlphaBlacKkKlansman, A.X.L. (which premiered this weekend), and Slender Man rounded out the Top Ten respectively.

The Happytime Murders is a 2018 American black comedy crime film directed by Brian Henson and written by Todd Berger. The film stars Melissa McCarthy, Maya Rudolph, Joel McHale, Elizabeth Banks, and Bill Barretta as Phil Phillips. The plot follows a world where puppets and humans co-exist, and a joint police force must solve a recent murder spree of retired sitcom stars.

A.X.L. is a 2018 American adventure film written and directed by Oliver Daly, and starring Alex Neustaedter, Becky G, Alex MacNicoll, Dominic Rains, and Thomas Jane. It tells the story of a teenage boy forever altered by a chance encounter with a dog created from cutting edge military technology.
