Box Office February 10-12, 2012. The Vow premiered in the Number One spot at the box office over the weekend with $41.7 Million. Safe House premiered in Second Place with $39.3 Million. Journey 2: The Mysterious Island premiered in Third Place with $27.5 Million. Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (in 3D) premiered in Fourth with $23 Million. Chronicle was Fifth with $12.3 Million. The Woman in Black, The Grey, Big Miracle, The Descendants, and Underworld: Awakening rounded out the top ten respectively.

The Vow is a romantic drama film directed by Michael Sucsy, starring Channing Tatum, Rachel McAdams, Sam Neill, Scott Speedman and Jessica Lange.

Safe House is an action thriller film directed by Daniel Espinosa, starring Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds.

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island is an American 3D adventure film directed by Brad Peyton and the sequel to the 2008 film Journey to the Center of the Earth. Following the first film, the sequel is loosely based on a Jules Verne novel, this time The Mysterious Island.

The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Michael Caine, Josh Hutcherson, Vanessa Hudgens, Luis Guzmán and Kristin Davis. The story was written by Richard Outten, Brian Gunn and Mark Gunn, and the screenplay by Brian and Mark Gunn.
