Finding Dory was Number One at the box office over the weekend for the third week in a row with $41.9 Million for $372.2 Million so far. The Legend of Tarzan premiered in Second Place with $38.1 Million. The Purge: Election Year premiered in Third Place with $30.8 Million. The BFG premiered in Fourth Place with $19.5 Million. Independence Day: Resurgence was Fifth Place with $16.5 Million. Central Intelligence, The Shallows, Free State of Jones, The Conjuring 2, and Now You See Me 2 rounded out the top ten respectively.

The Legend of Tarzan is a 2016 American action adventure film based on the fictional character created by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Directed by David Yates and written by Adam Cozad and Craig Brewer, its cast comprises Alexander Skarsgård as the title character, Samuel L. Jackson, Margot Robbie, Djimon Hounsou, Jim Broadbent and Christoph Waltz.

The Purge: Election Year is a 2016 American social science fiction action horror film, written and directed by James DeMonaco and starring Frank Grillo and Elizabeth Mitchell. A sequel to the 2014 film The Purge: Anarchy, it is the third installment in The Purge series.

The BFG is a 2016 American fantasy adventure film directed and produced by Steven Spielberg and written by Melissa Mathison, based on the 1982 novel of the same name by Roald Dahl. The film stars Mark Rylance, Ruby Barnhill, Penelope Wilton, Jemaine Clement, Rebecca Hall, Rafe Spall and Bill Hader. In the film, an orphan human girl befriends a benevolent giant, dubbed the “Big Friendly Giant”, who takes her to Giant Country, where they attempt to stop man-eating giants that are invading the human world.
