Box Office May 10-12, 2013. Iron Man 3 was Number One at the box office for the second weekend in a row with $72.3 Million for $284.8 Million so far in the US and $948.9 Million worldwide. The Great Gatsby premiered in Second Place with $51.1 Million. Pain and Gain was Third with $5 Million. Tyler Perry Presents Peeples premiered in Fourth Place with $4.8 Million. 42 was Fifth with $4.6 Million. Oblivion, The Croods, The Big Wedding, Mud, and Oz The Great and Powerful rounded out the top ten respectively.

The Great Gatsby is a 2013 3D romantic drama film. An adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s 1925 novel of the same name, the film is co-written and directed by Baz Luhrmann, and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan and Joel Edgerton. It follows the life and times of millionaire Jay Gatsby and his neighbour Nick, who recounts his encounter with Gatsby at the height of the Roaring Twenties.

Tyler Perry Presents Peeples is a 2013 American black comedy film written and directed by Tina Gordon Chism, and co-produced by Tyler Perry. It stars Craig Robinson and Kerry Washington. Tyler Perry Presents Peeples centers around the Peeples, a well-off East Coast family celebrating a reunion weekend in the Hamptons. But their retreat is interrupted when their daughter Grace’s (Washington) fiance Wade (Robinson) crashes to announce their surprise engagement.
