Box Office October 3-5, 2014. Gone Girl premiered in the Number One spot at the box office over the weekend with $38 Million. Annabelle premiered in Second Place with $37.2 Million. The Equalizer was Third with $19 Million.  The Boxtrolls was Fourth with $12.4 Million. The Maze Runner was Fifth with $12 Million. Left Behind (which premiered this weekend), This is Where I Leave You, Dolphin Tale 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, and No Good Deed rounded out the top ten respectively.

Gone Girl is a 2014 American mystery thriller film directed by David Fincher. It was adapted by Gillian Flynn from her 2012 novel of same name. It stars Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry, and Carrie Coon.

Annabelle is a 2014 American supernatural horror film directed by John R. Leonetti, produced by James Wan, and written by Gary Dauberman. It is both a prequel to and spin-off of The Conjuring. The film stars Annabelle Wallis, Ward Horton, and Alfre Woodard.

Left Behind is an American apocalyptic thriller film directed by Vic Armstrong and written by Paul LaLonde and John Patus. The film is based on the novel of same name, which is based on an interpretation of Bible prophecy, written by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, and is a reboot of Left Behind: The Movie.
