CAPTAIN AMERICA 3: Jeremy Renner Teases Possible Appearance

Jeremy Renner Hawkeye

Jeremy Renner Says Hawkeye May Appear in Captain America 3. Hawkeye has been one for being a team player in The Avengers, but we didn’t see him in action in Captain America: Winter Soldier. In a recent interview with MTV, actor Jeremy Renner spoke about what’s next for Hawkeye.

Jeremy Renner teased about Hawkeye possibly being in Captain America 3, but what about having him appear in a solo film? Well, Jeremy thinks that Hawkeye would be better off as a supporting member of The Avengers rather than appearing in his own adventure. “I’m happy to be the ensemble,” Renner says. “I’m not scratching or clawing to do a solo movie by any means. I think he’s a utility guy that can bounce around into other people’s universes a little bit, especially ‘Cap 3?. There’s whispers of that.”

Hawkeye was set to originally appear in a cameo in this year’s Captain America: Winter Solder, but scheduling conflicts led to having his scene scrapped. At least with news of a possible appearance in Captain America 3, there still may be some hope to see Hawkeye again after Avengers: Age of Ultron next year. What do you all think of Hawkeye appearing in Captain America 3?
