Emily VanCamp Explains Sharon Carter and Steve Roger’s Relationship in Captain America: Civil War. One of the fresh faces we saw in Captain America: The Winter Soldier was Sharon Carter. Emily VanCamp spoke about how her and Steve’s relationship changes the new film.

Introduced as a neighbor of Steve Roger (Chris Evans) in the previous film, Sharon Carter was revealed to be working for S.H.I.E.L.D. who kept an eye on him but ends up in the CIA after the organization dissolved. Talking with ET, Emily VanCamp opened up about the where Sharon and Steve Roger’s relationship goes in Captain America: Civil War.

I can say that she’s openly going to be Sharon Carter in the next movie. In the comic books, Cap and her have a love affair we get to sort of explore. I can’t say if we go to that extent of it, but they’re certainly getting to know each other and they know who each other are… There are die-hard fans that want to see him with different people, all the different camps. So hopefully people are happy.

VanCamp also shared a fight scene that was coming up with Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), which the actress admitted she enjoyed doing while filming. “I got to do a little fun, small fight sequence with Scarlett which was fun, we’re all just kind of kicking ass in these movies.”
