COMING HOME (2015) Movie Poster: Zhang Yimou is Back

Coming Home Poster Arrives

Coming Home Movie Poster Arrives. Zhang Yimou‘s Coming Home (2014) has a new movie poster, and boy does it look good. The director is great pedigree for engaging, entertaining historical dramas. I’ve almost seen every one of his films, and have enjoyed all of them. From Hero to House of Flying Daggers to Curse of the Golden Flower and The Flowers of War, this guy has that market cornered and he knows what he’s doing.

According to FirstShowing, “Coming Home, or Homecoming or Return as it’s also known, is directed by prominent Chinese filmmaker Zhang Yimou (of Hero, House of Flying Daggers, Curse of the Golden Flower, The Flowers of War) from a screenplay written by Zou Jingshi, based on the novel by Geling Yan. Inspired by Geling Yan’s novel The Criminal Lu Yanshi, the story spans from the 1920’s to the 1990’s, following a husband’s (Chen Daoming) separation from his family and eventual return home, where he is sent to a labor camp. Coming Home first premiered at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival as an Out-of-Competition film. It opened 4K IMAX in China back when it hits theaters in May of 2014, setting records.”

In any case, there’s a new U.S. poster for his latest, Coming Home, which I’m very excited to see. For now, take a look at this one-sheet and tell us what you think!
