Mira Sorvino Joins The Cast Of AT&T’s Planned Condor Series
Academy Award-winning Mighty Aphrodite actress Mira Sorvino is set to play a role in AT&T Audience Network‘s upcoming political drama Condor.
Drawing from the similarly-named 1975 Sydney Pollack thriller Three Days of the Condor, the series will revolve around naive young CIA analyst Joe Turner and what happens when he uncovers a devious plan that could result in the death of millions of innocent people. Coming out shortly after the Watergate scandal, the film proved to be emblematic of the paranoia and distrust towards the government that came to define the 70’s.
While Max Irons is slated to play Turner, Sorvino will appear as one Marty Frost, a veteran investigator who only becomes involved after Joe’s office is ransacked. As of now, the series is set to have ten episodes for its first season.
