Lucy Griffiths May Reprise Role of Liv in Constantine. Constantine’s pilot episode was the last time we saw Liv since she was written out of the series and replaced by Angelica Celaya’s Zed. But it seems we may not have seen the last of Liv according to David S. Goyer and Daniel Cerone.
Speaking with ComicBookMovie, the executive producers of Constantine discussed possibly bringing back Lucy Griffiths to play Liv. During the interview, Goyer and Cerone said that the pilot episode was left ambiguous for Liv’s return down the line. “In terms of whether she’ll be back, she’s part of the foundation of the show, As we dig deeper into the season, as we start talking about possible arcs for next season, there’s an opening there.”
That is if the show does get picked up for a second season, which is still up in the air as NBC is still airing new episodes. As far as a possible reappearance for this season, they added, “If there’s an organic reason to bring her back into the story, we’d love to.”
Goyer also touched upon what made them decide to replace Liv at all, and he had this to say: “The character was flawed in its conception, and obviously we’re to blame for that.”
