Charlie Cox Discusses What He Wishes for Daredevil Season Two. With the announcement of a season two pick-up for Netflix’s Marvel series Daredevil, Charlie Cox is excited to start shooting and shared what he hopes to see in the Man Without Fear’s next chapter.

Empire Online recently spoke with the British actor regarding what he knows about the new season of Daredevil. Cox didn’t give much away, but he did have a wish list of what he hopes to see in the second season.

Based on the show we’ve created, which is very grounded in reality, I’d like to see Punisher maybe show up, a little bit of Elektra maybe. I wouldn’t mind Black Widow making an appearance, and you can’t think about Daredevil for too long without thinking of Bullseye. I don’t know when or if or how that would happen, but it’d be cool if it did.

Everything except Black Widow seem like real possibilities. Hopefully Marvel can make these things happen, but seeing Scarlett Johansson reprise her role as Black Widow in the series probably won’t happen due to Marvel’s conscious budget.

Cox revealed that shooting for the second season will start filming later this year, and he believes that Daredevil’s return may impact the other solo series and The Defenders.

We’ll begin shooting in the second half of the year. It’ll be the same timeline as the last show, so season two will come out about this time next year. Again, I’m imagining all this, but there’ll probably do Iron Fist or Luke Cage at the same time, followed by the other one [of the two] in the first half of 2016 and then maybe Defenders in the second half of 2016 or the beginning of 2017.
